Reason (“the app”) is made by Hansler Digital (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does — and doesn’t do — with your information. In short: your data stays on your device, and we don’t collect it.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no accounts and no analytics.

Information the app stores on your device

The goals, habits, reasons, reminders, and completion history you create are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device except through features you control — for example, your own encrypted iCloud device backup. We have no access to it.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent through any server.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Third parties and tracking

The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and post the new version at this address.
